Ex Wppi president and close personal friend of mine, Skip Cohen invited me along with 15 other speakers from the US to be part of the Skip's Summer School. It was an intimate event with everyone presenting in the same room and even the speakers having the chance to learn from each other.

If you get the chance, attend Skip's Summer School in 2010. It's the best compliment to the big conventions in winter. Anything the Skip does is worth attending.

I've been to London at least 5 times now and I never sick of it. There is always something for everyone. After presenting a workshop in Florence in 2008, I simply had to do
another one in one of my favorite cities in the world. Georgina, Sally
and I stayed at the same villa and it strangely felt like home. My
students were from the USA, Ireland and Russia. It was a small group
with several last minute cancellations but it made for an intimate
learning experience. There was no shortage of personalities in this

There happened to be a festival in Florence during the time of our workshop and were fortunate to have some fireworks!!
One of my students from Russia, Aleksey whom I proudly call a very good friend just so happens to have a gorgeous wife. Nastya reminds me of a swan with her amazing long limbs so I had to photograph her. She has the most beautiful hands I have ever seen...

Georgina, Sally and I headed back to Dallas for our last workshop
before heading back home. We stayed at the Hotel ZaZa. It was a really
cool hotel with some exotic themed rooms. It provided some great
